Titus Georgi

Titus Georgi is a Professor of Acting and Program Spokesperson for the Acting Program at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. He leads the Drama Department and chairs the SKS (Standing Conference for Acting Training) association. His career includes freelance directing across major German theaters and award-winning event productions, such as the 2006 FIFA World Cup SKYARENA opening ceremony.

Education: Studied drama directing in Hamburg with Jürgen Flimm.

Research Interests: Focuses on theatrical performance techniques, interdisciplinary event design, and actor training methodologies. His work bridges traditional theater with modern media-driven productions.

Awards: Multiple accolades for SKYARENA and BMW/Mercedes-Benz event productions. Student achievements include prizes for Pin-Shiuan Lin and Karolina Bengtsson under his mentorship.

Advising & Grants: Oversees the acting program's success in national competitions. Current projects include collaborations with industry partners like BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

Labs/Teams: Directs the HMTMH Acting Program team, fostering collaborations in both academic and commercial theater spheres.
