Tina Reid is a Professor in the Department of Nursing at Salisbury University, where she has taught for 16 years. Her roles include teaching undergraduate community health nursing, global health courses, and psychiatric/mental health, while mentoring graduate students in DNP practicums and MS capstone projects.
- Co-founded SU’s Health Humanities Minor, Women’s Forum, and Women in Leadership initiatives
- Co-Director/PI for Eastern Shore Faculty Academy and Mentorship Initiative
- Active in community organizations including The Links Incorporated, Coastal Hospice Board, and Living Well Advisory Board
Her research focuses on nursing faculty shortages and global health perceptions, with publications and presentations on these topics. She integrates health humanities into nursing education and practices through community health ministry at Emmanuel Wesleyan Church.
