Tina Faigen is a part-time faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Music and Carnegie Mellon University Music Preparatory School. She holds a BM from Oberlin College Conservatory, MM and DMA from the University of Miami. An acclaimed concert pianist, chamber musician, and recording artist, she serves as Principal 2nd violinist in the Edgewood Symphony Orchestra.
Her research and performance interests span classical piano repertoire, chamber music collaboration, and music transcription. Notable performances include Brahms D Minor Concerto with multiple orchestras and collaborative projects with artists like Catherine Cho and Orion Quartet members.
