About
Timothée Poisot is Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Université de Montréal and Training Director of BIOS². His research examines spatio-temporal variation in biotic interactions, developing computational methods to predict species interaction networks for conservation and infectious disease management.
Research integrates community ecology, coevolution, and biostatistics to model ecosystem properties. Focus areas include predicting interaction structures where empirical data is limited, and applying ecological network analysis to conservation challenges including emerging infectious risks.
