Dr. Timothy MacNeill is a Senior Teaching Professor of Political Science at Ontario Tech University’s Faculty of Social Science and Humanities. He holds a PhD in Communication and Culture from York University and an MDE from Dalhousie University. His research focuses on globalization’s impacts on marginalized communities, sustainable development through Indigenous-led movements, and the interplay between institutions and human behavior.
Key research streams include: 1) Corporate practices affecting Indigenous ecosystems; 2) Reimagining socio-political systems via social movements; and 3) Institutional influences on human behavior.
