Dr. Timothy J. Ainger is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and a clinical neuropsychologist at the Kentucky Neuroscience Institute. He specializes in cognitive disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neuroimmunology, and neuropsychological assessment in diverse populations, including those with traumatic brain injuries and organ transplants.
His research and clinical work focus on enhancing clinical conceptualization across complex neurological and psychiatric conditions, with particular emphasis on resiliency, wellness, and forensic applications. Dr. Ainger is a National Multiple Sclerosis Society Partner-In-Care and actively contributes to institutional wellness and diversity initiatives.
