Nicholas Michael Gala

Dr. Nicholas Michael Gala is a faculty member at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in the Department of Clinical Psychology, affiliated with the College of Graduate and Professional Studies. He holds a Ph.D. (2017) and MA (2016) in Clinical Psychology from Gallaudet University, where his training emphasized American Sign Language (ASL) integration in clinical practice and cultural understanding of mental illness in Deaf communities.

He has contributed to federal/state standards for deaf and hard-of-hearing children's education through research at the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center.

Dr. Gala is licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and through the Interjurisdictional PSYPACT. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), APA Division 6 (Behavioral Neuroscience and Comparative Psychology), APA Division 40 (Clinical Neuropsychology), and the Global Institute of Forensic Research.
