Timothy Gilman

Timothy Gilman is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management Communication at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University. He also teaches at institutions such as Columbia University, Parsons School of Design, and the School of the Visual Arts. His interdisciplinary work bridges business education, contemporary art, and social impact.

His educational background includes a PhD in Media and Communications from the European Graduate School, Saas-Fee, Switzerland, and a BA in English from Tufts University.

Professor Gilman's research focuses on institutional reform, contemporary art and curation, art and commerce, and the integration of arts in business education. He employs experiential learning, visual thinking, and interdisciplinary methodologies to foster critical engagement among students.
