Timothy Cole

Timothy Cole is Associate Professor of Political Science and Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Maine. He earned his PhD from the University of Washington. His research examines how foreign policy leaders articulate visions of American interests.

Cole's work analyzes presidential communication during political crises and institutional responses to executive controversies. His publications include comparative studies of presidential scandals and media-political dynamics during conflicts.
