Timothy Chow, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in drug and vaccine allergy, urticaria (hives), and asthma.
Dr. Chow earned his medical degree at Temple University, completed a pediatrics residency and chief residency at UT Southwestern, and pursued advanced training in allergy and immunology through a fellowship there. He rejoined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021 after completing his fellowship.
His research focuses on drug allergy, vaccine allergy, and asthma. A key project explores penicillin allergy evaluations in outpatient pediatric primary care settings and associated implementation barriers.
