Tim van Olmen

Tim van Olmen is a researcher and teacher at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University, working in the Department of Clinical Sciences under the Umbrella Disciplines. His role involves technical and educational support in veterinary anatomy, physiology, and histology.

• Current position: Preparator/technician in Anatomy & Physiology (May 2024 - present)
• Previous roles: Team Leader Histology/Immunohistochemistry (2017-2024), Histotechnical Analyst at TNO Quality of Life (2001-2011) and Triskelion BV (2011-2017)

Research activities focus on veterinary histopathology, immunohistochemistry, and plastination techniques for educational use. He supports researchers and PhD candidates at the Hubrecht laboratory through specialized laboratory skills.
