Tim Vorley

Professor Tim Vorley serves as Pro Vice-Chancellor for the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Oxford Brookes University. His research examines innovation systems, regional development, and productivity policies.

Research domains include:

• Digital transformation in professional services
• Entrepreneurial ecosystem development
• Innovation policy analysis
• SME productivity determinants

His publications critically examine technology adoption patterns across professional services, sustainability transitions in innovation policy, and entrepreneurial development in emerging economies. Recent work investigates AI's societal impacts and policy frameworks for healthy aging through social innovation.

He leads major research initiatives including the £4.7M Innovation and Research Caucus and DIGIT Lab projects exploring digital transformation pathways.
