Tim Kübel

Tim Kübel is a Doctoral Researcher at the Institute for Sport Business, Loughborough University London. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Louisville and a Master's degree in Sport Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).

Tim's research focuses on youth football development, exploring holistic player development, talent development environments, and positive youth development through sport. His work bridges academic rigor with practical applications in elite youth football.

He received the UNC Exercise and Sport Science Graduate Student Research Merit Award for his research on holistic player development in college soccer.

Tim is engaged in a collaborative PhD project with Chelsea Football Club, examining social development pathways for elite youth football players, combining his professional football experience with academic expertise.
