Tiago P. Peixoto is a Full Professor at IT:U and affiliated with the Department of Network and Data Science at the Central European University. He leads the 'Inverse Complexity Lab', focusing on statistical physics, computational statistics, information theory, Bayesian inference, machine learning, network science, and complex systems. His work addresses inverse problems in these domains. He developed and maintains graph-tool, a Python module for network analysis.
Qualifications include a PhD in Physics from the University of São Paulo (2008) and a Habilitation in Theoretical Physics from the University of Bremen (2017).
