Thomas Jackson

Thomas Jackson is a Senior Lecturer in the Accounting and International Business department at the University of Houston-Downtown’s Marilyn Davies College of Business. With over a decade of university-level teaching experience, he transitioned to academia after a career as a business owner and electronics industry executive. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas and actively contributes to the development of accounting education and curriculum.

Research and Teaching Interests

His teaching interests include financial reporting under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, along with federal individual and corporate income tax law.
