Thomas Gruber

Dr. Thomas Gruber is an Academic Director at the Institute for Astronomical and Physical Geodesy, Technische Universität München (TUM), where he leads research in high-resolution Earth gravity field modeling and satellite gravimetry. He is actively involved in major international projects including ESA’s GOCE, MAGIC, and QSG4EMT, as well as DFG-funded initiatives like NEROGRAV and UPLIFT. His work bridges theoretical geodesy with practical Earth observation applications.
