Thomas Gillier is Associate Professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management and 2021 Fulbright Research Scholar. He teaches creativity, innovation management, and technology entrepreneurship across undergraduate, graduate, and executive programs.
His research investigates distributed creativity in collaborative contexts including open innovation, crowdsourcing, open science, and open foresight. He examines how individuals and organizations generate, evaluate, and elaborate novel ideas, with recent work exploring emotional dynamics in collective problem-solving and network structures of innovation concepts.
Gillier collaborates with high-tech firms including Renault and CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission). His research appears in Academy of Management Discoveries, Research Policy, and Harvard Business Review.
