Thomas Feather

Thomas Feather serves as the Lighting Manager and instructor for Lighting Stagecraft 1 at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama since 2020. He oversees the Lighting Department’s shop, crew, and equipment, supporting student technicians and designers in achieving their lighting goals. His professional background includes roles at MGM National Harbor (Maryland) as a lighting technician and freelance work with Pittsburgh theaters like Quantum Theatre, The New Hazlett Theatre, and City Theatre. He also contributed to immersive attractions with Bricolage Production Company and Undead Productions.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. His expertise spans theatre production, lighting technology, and educational instruction. Outside academia, he enjoys outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and biking.
