Dr. Thomas Eisele is Professor and Director of the Center for Applied Malaria Research and Evaluation at Tulane University's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. His research focuses on malaria epidemiology and evaluation of elimination strategies in resource-limited settings.
Research interests encompass measurement of intervention coverage, impact evaluation of malaria control strategies, and development of surveillance methodologies. He leads studies on mass drug administration and vector control interventions across multiple countries.
Honors include Tulane University's Carol Lavin Bernick Faculty Grant and multiple NIH Loan Repayment Awards. Dr. Eisele serves on technical expert groups for WHO and the Global Fund's Technical Review Panel.
