Thomas E. Brock

Thomas E. Brock is a Studio Associate Professor and Master of Architecture YR2 Coordinator at the College of Architecture, Illinois Institute of Technology. His work focuses on advanced architectural technologies, precast concrete building systems, and integrated project delivery methods. He holds a B.ARCH. from the University of Cincinnati and an M.ARCH. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Research interests include innovative fabrication techniques for curtain walls, sustainable building design, and pedagogical approaches to comprehensive building education. His 2012 publication in Ascent Magazine explores the transformative impact of integrated project delivery systems.

Professional activities include leadership at Tom Brock Architect. He received the PCO Studio Grant (2008-2011) supporting his research initiatives. Brock advises on studio pedagogy and coordinates year-round academic programs in architectural design education.
