Thomas Bruick

Thomas Bruick, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the College of Education of the University of Central Arkansas. He serves as the Higher Education Leadership Concentration Leader and teaches in the Department of Elementary, Literacy, and Special Education Leadership Studies. Bruick earned his BBA in Marketing and Master’s in College Student Personnel Services and Administration from the University of Central Arkansas. He recently completed his Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Colorado State University.

• Primary research explores environmental, experiential, and noncognitive factors in college student success, focusing on conditionally admitted students.
• Additional research interests: graduation preparation in student affairs, higher education policy, and access initiatives.

He is actively involved in the Southern Association for College Student Affairs, having chaired multiple committees and served on the conference planning committee.
