Evan Faidley

Evan Faidley, Ph.D., serves as Assistant Professor and Community Leadership Concentration Leader at the University of Central Arkansas' College of Education. He earned his B.A. in French from The University of Akron, followed by M.A. in French Literature, M.Ed. in Higher Education & Student Personnel, and Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University.

His research agenda focuses on professional preparation in higher education, student affairs preparation programs, career development, and graduate student socialization. Faidley’s dissertation examined professional socialization in higher education administration and master’s students’ transition to full-time student affairs staff.
