Thilo Kromer

Prof. Dr. Thilo Kromer serves as Professor for Prevention & Rehabilitation at Furtwangen University since 2019, previously holding professorial roles at SRH Hochschule Heidelberg (2013-2019). His academic leadership includes Dean of the B.Sc. Physiotherapy program (2020-2023) and Program Director for M.Sc. Therapiewissenschaften at SRH Heidelberg (2017-2019).

His educational background features a PhD from Maastricht University (2007-2014) and a Master of Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia (2004-2005).

Research focuses on therapeutic alliance dynamics in physiotherapy outcomes, prognostic factors in musculoskeletal disorders, and specialized treatment of neck spine and upper extremity conditions. His work integrates clinical reasoning with mindfulness practices in rehabilitation frameworks, emphasizing therapist-patient relationship dynamics and differential diagnostic methodologies.
