Theo Gangi

Theo Gangi serves as an Assistant Professor at St. Francis College within the Literature, Writing & Publishing school, where he directs the Low-Residency MFA Program in Writing. Based in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, he maintains an active presence in both academic and literary circles.

His educational background includes a B.A. from Goucher College and an MFA from Columbia University’s School of the Arts. This foundation supports his dual career as an educator and published author.

Gangi specializes in creative writing with emphases on apocalyptic fiction, crime thrillers, and literary short stories. His work demonstrates technical mastery across genres, particularly in narrative structure and character development. He actively contributes to the literary ecosystem through program leadership and publications in respected venues.

As Director of the Low-Residency MFA Program, Gangi oversees curriculum development and student mentorship. The program recently launched a new literary journal in March 2022, reflecting his commitment to fostering emerging writers. His administrative role complements his creative output and teaching responsibilities.
