Dr. Tess Crosbie is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Bedfordshire's School of Computer Science and Technology. She joined as a part-time MSc student in 2005, graduated in 2008, and returned as a Visiting Lecturer while pursuing her PhD. She transitioned to full-time staff in 2016 after submitting her thesis on computational measurement of aesthetics in literary texts. Her teaching focuses on Research Methodologies, Agile Project Management, and Computer Science fundamentals.
Her research interests include Digital Humanities, Computational Linguistics, and Natural Language Processing. Notable publications explore e-Government adoption in Nigeria, computational stylistic analysis, and literary aesthetics. She can be contacted via tess.crosbie@beds.ac.uk.
