Terry Butler

Terry Butler serves as the Assistant Director of Choirs and Lecturer in the Music department at Norfolk State University's College of Liberal Arts. He leads the NSU Chamber Choir and advises students pursuing music education. His roles also include Organist and Choirmaster at Grace Episcopal Church in Norfolk and former Music Director of the I. Sherman Greene Chorale, a nationally recognized ensemble.

His teaching responsibilities include courses such as Applied Secondary Piano, Elementary Conducting, and Sight-Singing & Ear-Training. Terry is affiliated with professional organizations like the Music Educators National Conference and the American Choral Directors Association.
