Teresa Riesgo is a Full Professor at the School of Industrial Engineering, Technical University of Madrid (UPM). She earned her M.Sc. (1989) and Ph.D. (1996) in Industrial Engineering from UPM, where she has been affiliated since 2003.
- Education: Industrial Engineer (UPM, 1989), Doctor in Industrial Engineering (UPM, 1996)
Her research focuses on Digital Embedded Systems, including wireless sensor networks, configurable systems, and power estimation in digital systems. She has led multiple European Union-funded projects and held leadership roles such as Vice-Director of ETSII-UPM and Director of the Centro de Electrónica Industrial (until 2012). She actively participates in international academic relations through the TIME network and represents UPM in global agreements.
