Andrés Otero

Andrés Otero is an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and a researcher at the Centro de Electrónica Industrial (CEI). He holds advanced degrees in Telecommunication Engineering and Industrial Electronics.

His research focuses on digital embedded systems, wireless sensor networks, computer vision, evolvable hardware, and reconfigurable systems on FPGAs. He has contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed publications and participated in multiple research projects in these areas.

Notable professional engagements include serving on the Program Committees for international conferences like SPL, ERSA, ReConFig, DASIP, and ReCoSoC. He previously worked as a research engineer at Gradiant (2014-2015) and as an engineer at Gsertel (2015-2016).
