Terence Tunberg is a Professor of Classics and Director of the UK Institute for Latin Studies at the University of Kentucky. He holds a Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Toronto (1986), an MA in Medieval Studies and Ancient History from the University of London (1979–1982), and earlier degrees from the University of Southern California. His research focuses on Latin Literature, Renaissance Studies, Latin Pedagogy, and the revival of spoken Latin (Active Latin). He is renowned for his work on Ciceronianism in humanist Latin, critical editions of Erasmus' works, and co-authored textbooks like Readings and Exercises in Latin Prose Composition and Latin for the New Millennium.
