Milena Minkova

Milena Minkova is a Professor of Classics and Acting Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Classics at the University of Kentucky. She specializes in Latin literature, Neo-Latin studies, and Latin pedagogy. Her research focuses on 12th-century Renaissance Latin, medieval philosophy, and active Latin usage. She co-directs the Institute for Latin Studies, promoting Latin from antiquity to modern times through immersive Latin classes. Minkova has held academic roles at institutions including the University of Geneva, University of Heidelberg, and various pontifical universities in Rome.
