Tania Duclos is an Assistant Professor in the Languages, Literatures, and Cultural Studies department at STM College. Her research focuses on 19th Century French novels, intertextuality, and androgyny in literature, with a particular emphasis on Acadian literature. She holds a PhD from Paris IV Sorbonne, an MA and BA from Université de Moncton.
Her research projects include work on eBalzac, a digital edition of Honoré de Balzac's works emphasizing Balzacian hypertext analysis. She teaches French language courses at intermediate and advanced levels (FREN 319/419).
Her publications and presentations explore themes like Balzac's treatment of gender, luxury theory, and Acadian literary origins. Recent work includes contributions to Femmes et Luxe (2022) and L'Acadie des Origines (2011).
