TY Branch is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Leibniz University Hannover's SOCRATES Centre, investigating trust dynamics in expert knowledge. Her research bridges philosophy of science, social epistemology, and science communication, with focus on values in scientific practice. Current projects examine public perceptions of ocean science and critique legacy of the value-free ideal in research communication.

She pioneers 'field philosophy' approaches through residencies in architecture and data science labs, exploring emergence theories and methodological values. Teaches courses on trust in science and social epistemology.
