Dr. Sylvi Rzepka served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair of Empirical Economic Research at the University of Potsdam from April 2019 to February 2021. Prior to this, she worked as a Research Associate at the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in the department of "Labor Markets, Education, Population" (2013–2019). She holds a B.A. in International Relations from TU Dresden (2009), an M.A. in International Economics from Georg-August University Göttingen and UC Berkeley (2013), and a Ph.D. in Economics from Ruhr University Bochum (2017), focusing on lifelong learning dynamics. Her research bridges educational and behavioral economics, emphasizing digital education innovations and labor market contexts. Since March 2021, she has been a Data Scientist at Deutsche Bahn in Berlin.
