Syed Ali is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) College of Business, Department of Finance, Information Systems, Economics, and Risk Management. With over 30 years of experience in IT, criminal justice, and academia, his expertise spans leadership, data governance, ERP systems, cybersecurity, and generative AI applications in education. He has taught courses in Enterprise Architecture, Systems Analysis & Design, and Organizational Cybersecurity, emphasizing practical application and student-centered learning.
