Sven Pohl

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sven Pohl is a faculty member at the Technical University of Central Hesse, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Energy Technology. His research focuses on biomass utilization, hydrogen technology, renewable energy systems, and environmental process engineering, with emphasis on thermochemical conversion and sector coupling.

• Research Interests: Hydrogen production from renewable sources (wind, biomass), biomass gasification, emission reduction, and sustainable energy systems.
• Projects: Lead roles in DBU-funded BAAWas, BMBF-funded BioReSCu, HyFuel Campus Mittelhessen, and BrennBAG process simulations.
