Suzanne Yeager is a Professor of English at Fordham University (on leave Spring 2025). She holds degrees from Washington University (BA), Oxford University (MPhil), and University of Toronto (MA, PhD). Her research specializes in Geoffrey Chaucer, crusade/pilgrimage literature, English historiography, and medieval drama.
Her scholarly work examines constructions of nationhood, memory, and travel in medieval texts. She teaches undergraduate courses on Memory in the Middle Ages, Medieval Drama, Medieval Literature/Art, and The Medieval Traveler, plus graduate seminars on Chaucer and Postcolonial approaches to medieval studies.
