Dr. Suzanne Meldrum is a Lecturer and Course Coordinator of the Speech Pathology Honours program at Edith Cowan University's School of Medical and Health Sciences. She holds a PhD from The University of Western Australia (2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Human Communication Science from Curtin University (2006).
Research Interests:
- Communication disorders in young children, particularly treatments for late talkers
- Infant and early childhood language development
- Efficacious interventions for language delay and disorder
- Pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs)

- Over $1 million in research funding from MRFF, Women's and Infants Research Foundation, and ECU
- Current grants include projects on early language intervention and speech-language outcomes in the ORIGINS cohort
