Susanta Ghosh

Susanta Ghosh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Michigan Technological University, where he is also a faculty member of the Center for Data Sciences at the Institute of Computing and Cybersystems. His research integrates Bayesian Machine Learning, Scientific Machine Learning, and Computational Mechanics to address uncertainty quantification in materials design, fracture modeling, and biomedical imaging.

• Education: Ph.D. and M.S. from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore; B.S. from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur.
• Research Expertise: Bayesian Neural Networks, Uncertainty Quantification, Computational Inverse Problems, Electronic Structure Prediction, and Nonlocal Elasticity.
