Prof. Dr. Susanne Greilich holds the Chair of Romance Philology II at the University of Regensburg, leading the DFG-funded project on Transatlantic Knowledge Transfer and Cultural Translation Dynamics. Her research focuses on Francophone and Hispanophone literatures and cultures from the 18th to 21st centuries, emphasizing cultural transfer, encyclopedism, postcolonial discourse, and intercultural humor. She co-edited major works like Traduire l'encyclopédisme (2024) and Translation Policy and the Politics of Translation (2024). Her academic journey includes a PhD (2004) on 18th-century French almanacs and a habilitation (2015) on Juan Valera's novels.
