Susanna Kallio

Susanna Kallio is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Commercial Law (Helsinki) at Hanken School of Economics. Her research explores gender and inequalities in intellectual property rights through a (posthuman) feminist lens. She focuses on feminist legal theory and the intersection of posthumanism/new materialism with copyright, trademark, patent law, and plant variety protection frameworks.

She serves on Hanken's Equality Committee, contributing to institutional equity initiatives. Her work bridges legal scholarship with critical theory, addressing how intellectual property regimes interact with socio-legal structures of power and identity.
