Susan Curry

Susan Curry is a Senior Lecturer in Classics, Humanities and Italian Studies at the University of New Hampshire's College of Liberal Arts. She specializes in ancient Roman culture, Greek drama, and classical reception studies.

Research Focus: Her scholarship examines representations of power in imperial Rome through interdisciplinary lenses of sustainability studies and human-animal relationships. Current projects investigate resource management in ancient cities and symbolic animal imagery in historical texts.

Publications: Research analyzes imperial Roman literature through cultural and philosophical frameworks, particularly Seneca's epistolary strategies and Suetonius' characterization techniques.
