Susan Berg

Susan Berg is an Associate Professor in the Nursing Department at The University of Tampa and serves as Director of Graduate Nursing Programs. A family nurse practitioner with clinical expertise in ENT disorders, procedural care, and healthcare disparities, she holds a BSN (Missouri, 1998), MSN (Southwest Missouri State, 2002), and DNP (Iowa, 2009).

Her research focuses on:

• Advanced clinical practice methodologies
• Healthcare access inequities
• Specialized nursing interventions for ENT conditions
• Graduate nursing education frameworks

Honors include:

• Teaching Excellence Award, Missouri State University Foundation (2016)
• Outstanding Clinical Abstract Award, AANP (2011)

As program director, she oversees graduate nursing curricula and advises students while teaching core courses including Pathophysiology, Advanced Pharmacology, and Primary Care Procedures.
