Zhipei Sun is a Professor at Aalto University, Finland, specializing in nanoscience, photonics, and optoelectronics. His research focuses on 2D materials, quantum technologies, and nonlinear optics. He has held positions at the University of Cambridge (UK) and ICFO (Spain).
Education: Ph.D. (2005) from Chinese Academy of Sciences, M.Sc. (2002) and B.Sc. (1999) in Physics from Anhui University and Huaibei Normal University.
Research interests include moiré photonics, interlayer excitons in van der Waals heterostructures, and ultrafast optical systems.
