Sun Sun Yap

Sun Sun Yap is a PhD Researcher at the Cambridge Institute for Music Therapy Research, affiliated with the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Arts, Humanities, Education and Social Sciences. She holds clinical roles as a music therapist at the neurological department of the University Hospital Tulln (Lower Austria) and teaches on the Applied Health Sciences MSc programme at the University of Applied Sciences, Krems. Her research focuses on synchrony in music therapy and its relationship to therapy readiness, particularly examining heart rate synchronicity and nonverbal cues during interventions.
