Sujey Myers

Sujey C. Myers is a Professor in the Department of Spanish at Sam Houston State University (SHSU), where she has been actively involved in teaching and research. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, she earned both her MA and BA in Spanish at SHSU, with her bachelor's degree including a minor in Secondary Education.

Her research interests focus on second language acquisition, gender studies in Latin America, and the psychology of women in Peru. While primarily affiliated with the Spanish department, she collaborates with the SHSU Department of Political Science on document translation and research projects.
