With 18 years of experience as a Principal in the Durham District School Board leading three schools, and prior roles as a classroom teacher (Kindergarten to Grade 8) and Special Education Resource Teacher, she brings extensive K-12 educational leadership expertise to her academic role.
Her professional focus centers on Special Education, Curriculum Development, and Elementary Education, emphasizing student-centered pedagogy that adapts to evolving educational frameworks while maintaining core student needs. Throughout her career, she has championed collaborative approaches to support diverse learners and system-level curriculum initiatives.
