Subroto Roy

Dr. Subroto Roy is a Professor of Marketing at the Pompea College of Business, University of New Haven since 2001. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Western Sydney (2002) and a PGDRM from the Institute of Rural Management (1982). A former Visiting Scholar at Yale School of Management, he continues his research in quantitative marketing at Yale SOM. Prior to academia, he served as Head of Marketing and Sales at HPCL (Tetra Pak joint venture in India), where he pioneered aseptic packaging adoption with brands like Amul and Frooti.

Recent publications highlight cross-cultural impacts on outsourcing, sustainable innovation in B2B relationships, and technology adoption in global markets. He serves as Editor of the American Business Review and sits on editorial boards of Journal of Supply Chain Management and Strategic Outsourcing.
