Stuart Rosen

Professor Stuart Rosen is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Brompton and Ealing Hospitals and holds the title of Professor of Practice (Cardiology) at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. He specializes in heart failure, syncope, and difficult hypertension, with technical expertise in transoesophageal echocardiography and cardio-oncology care.

Education:

• MB BS: Pembroke College, Cambridge and Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School
• Specialist Cardiology Training: Charing Cross, Hammersmith, and St Mary’s Hospitals

Research Focus: Translational research on heart injury in cancer patients, cardiac autonomic dysfunction, and cardiac pain mechanisms. He leads the MRC’s PATCH trial on cardiovascular outcomes in prostate cancer patients.

• Founder and director of the Hands On Echo course for postgraduates
