Stuart Hepburn

Dr Stuart Hepburn holds a Lectureship in Scriptwriting at the University of Stirling's Department of Communications, Media and Culture. With 35 years of professional experience as a screenwriter, actor, and director, his creative works include 3 feature films, 8 stage plays, and over 100 hours of television. His research focuses on Action Research for the Creative Practitioner and bridging academic teaching with professional creative industries. Notable projects include the play The Beaches Of St Valery (2020) and a World War II drama for NRK, Norway. He received the Star Teaching Award (2014) from the University of the West of Scotland.
