Nipper Knapp

Nipper Knapp is a professional actor, screenwriter, and part-time lecturer at California State University, Long Beach, affiliated with the College of the Arts and the Theatre Arts Department. With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, he co-created and starred in the Amazon Prime series One and Done and appeared in films such as Buying the Cow and Scream Queen. He is a proud Screen Actor’s Guild member since 1999 and has worked extensively in national commercials.

His expertise spans acting, screenwriting, and theatre development, informed by his career in film, television, and original stage works. As a founding member of New York City’s Trueblood Theatre Ensemble, he contributed to the development of new plays, blending his creative and academic pursuits.

At CSULB, he holds office hours in TA 227 on Tuesdays and Thursdays (12:15pm–2:00pm) and by appointment, offering mentorship to students in cinematic and theatre arts.
